Clutes Dry Dock
The Mohawk Towpath Scenic Byway home page
          This is the site of a Dry Dock built in the 1820s to repare and construct canal boats and barges.  It's located at the eastern end of the Vischer Ferry Historic and Nature Preserve. Here Town Historian John Scherer explains the historical significance of this site to a group of mountain bikers.
