The Byway is a regional partnership of communities that will balance the promotion of local interests with the protection of heritage resources. |

The Byway is a road: a road that tells a story. Here the story is the Mohawk River and Erie Canal and the part the waterway west and our communities played in the westward expansion of the country. |
